Art in the Dark!

Thank you Mrs. Nassar for putting together such a fun STEAM art lesson! We learned about bioluminescent animals and experimented with pencils, highlighters, and neon stickers! The room had to be completely dark and we used black lights to make our artwork shine! Mrs. Nassar even surprised us and gave us neon bracelets while we worked! Check out our awesome artwork below!

Read Across America

We kicked off Read Across America at Fuller Meadow last week with a visit from The Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2!

The students are excited to spend the month reading as much as we can and focusing specifically on Dr. Seuss books!

Many of Dr. Seuss' books have very meaningful morals and messages and it has been fun to dig into his books and look for what we can learn from each story.

Friday, March 2nd, was Dr. Seuss' birthday and we celebrated by partner reading some of our Dr. Seuss favorites outside in the beautiful weather!

We voted on our favorite Dr. Seuss character and the winner in our room was.....
THE LORAX!

We loved Read Across America!
